CNC Programmer
Responsible for the programming function of CNC machines so as to enable Machinists to produce parts in accordance with the specifications and in meeting the delivery schedule.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Creating CNC programs for various CNC lathes and Milling machines
- Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings and information in order to determine methods and sequences of operation needed to fabricate products.
- The Management of CNC programs and tooling sheets in the CNC program register.
- Proving out CNC programs with the operators and storing in the appropriate file.
- Perform process improvements to increase the overall capacity and turnaround time of the machines
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor
Minimum Requirements:
- Knowledge of MasterCam, Autocad and Solidworks would be an advantage
- Knowledge of CNC Canned Cycle, sub programs and Makro programs is essential
- Experience in Fanuc CNC control panels
- Experience in CNC Milling and Turning machines is necessary for this role
- Good Team player with creative thinking, analytical and multi-tasking ability
