Maintenance Supervisor
Responsible for implementation of preventive maintenance system and execution of maintenance programme according to planned schedule for the plant and machinery as well as trouble-shooting and repair of Machines & Equipment during breakdown.
Primary Function
Implement preventative maintenance system, execute maintenance programme, and troubleshoot/repair Machinery and Equipment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan preventive maintenance programmes for the plant, machinery & equipment, etc.
- Allocate maintenance schedule and discuss maintenance scope/checklist with team members
- Check, verify and update maintenance records and the respective tags on machinery and equipment.
- Repair breakdown machine with mechanical, electrical and electronic Knowledge
- Trouble-shoot and repair of machines during breakdown
- For CNC, HMC, VMC, Manual lathe including Generator, Compressor and welding machines.
- Place order, maintain files and make a comprehensive inventory of spare parts and tools for maintenance use
- Assign manpower to attend minor office building mechanical/electrical repair
- Promote, implement safety work practices and activities in relation to OHSAS and company objectives
- Supervise daily housekeeping in the section as well as supervise housekeeping contractors
- Supervise, motivate and counsel his team members
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Immediate Manager
Minimum Requirements:
- Technical Diploma holders with experience in plant and machinery maintenance
- Knowledge of repair for CNC machines and is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of diagnosis of PLC & Fanuc controls system
- Knowledge of repair for welding equipment is preferred
- Preferably minimum 7 years in supervisory role
- Proficient in English in reading, writing and spoken
- Computer Literate
