MACHINISTPlus

Primary Function

Produce parts by using machine tools and material in accordance with specifications

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive daily work instructions from immediate supervisor
  • Read work specifications and drawings a stated in process Control Travellers
  • Do process planning and time estimation
  • Withdraw tools and materials from store
  • Transport and set up work piece using overhead cranes and other lifting tools
  • Perform rough cut, check dimension before proceed for cutting
  • Conduct in process checking and trouble shooting

  • Follow safe work practices in all aspect of work

QA ENGINEERPlus

Primary Function

Provide administrative support to QA department function

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Preparation and Management of Quality Assurance Documentation (Manual, Procedures, Work Instructions, Plans etc.)
  • Assist QA/QC Manager during external and internal audits.
  • Assist QA/ QC Manager in route cause analysis of Non Conformances & prepare monthly
  • Report for the NCRs during Inspections and analysis the nature of NCRs.
  • Maintain document records and logs as required by ISO, API.
  • Preparation of Project Specific Quality Documents in consultation with the QA/ QC manager.
  • Review work order regularly and confirm the API product monogram certification.
  • Preparation and Management of Welding related Documentation (WPS/PQR/WQT etc.) in consultation with the QA/QC Manager as applicable.
  • Scheduling the internal Audit plan and conducting the internal audit within the premises.
  • Coordinating with Internal auditors to close the internal audit NCRs within the time frame.
  • Coordinating with all departments to update the KPI on time and submit the report to Management.
  • Reviewing the effectiveness of corrective action proposed in the internal NCR’s & CPAR.
  • Reviewing the effectiveness of corrective action proposed for customer complaints.
  • Qualifying the new suppliers
  • Scheduling the Supplier audit plan and conducting the supplier audit as per plan.
  • Review of Incoming raw material test certificate (MTC) before procurement & welding consumables certificate.
  • Coordinating with relevant team to get the customer feedback on annual basis.
  • Work order reviews to be carried out to ensure jobs are manufactured as per the standard requirements and our QMS.
  • Coordinating with other departments for any changes in procedure or work instruction
  • Verification of PWHT arrangements and requirements prior to start of PWHT operation.
  • Review of PWHT Reports and Charts after completion of PWHT operation and sign the PWHT chart
  • Perform any other task as assigned by QA Manager.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Engineering or Equivalent with min. 2 years of relevant Experience
  • Trained Internal Auditor with knowledge of ISO 9001, API Q1 and API requirements
  • Knowledge of ASME Sec IX

QC FOREMAN (MECHANICAL & NDE)Plus

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Inspectors to utilize their experience and ensure that the work is completed in the safest and quickest manner
  • Assign jobs to inspectors and ensure that the inspection process meets the requirements
  • Review of Material Test Certificates to meet the standard and specification requirements
  • Ensure that Incoming, In-process (Visual and Dimensional) are in compliance with industry standards and Client Requirements and Drawings
  • Perform Non-Destructive Examination (LPI, MPI etc.) and Hardness Testing
  • Ensure final traceability transfer and monogramming on Equipment
  • Review Hydro-testing Charts
  • Perform Surface Preparation and Painting inspections
  • Review all the relevant reports and records before final release for dispatch
  • Preparation of relevant Inspection reports and records
  • Provide Inspection results and Photographs to QC Admin for Preparation of Data Books
  • Report Non-conformances during Inspections.
  • Update the log of monogrammed Equipment
  • Manage the Gauge Room and ensure that the equipment is good working condition.
  • Perform work order review and convey the knowledge to QC personnel.
  • Control of Calibration for all inspection Equipment

Minimum Requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience deemed sufficient by Management
  • Strong leadership & communication skills are essential
  • Familiar with the following standards and certifications – API, NACE; ASME; ISO 9001; OHSAS 18001 etc
  • Experience in NDE practices is preferred but not essential
  • Experience in coating/painting inspection is preferred but not essential
  • Prior experience in dimensional inspection is an added advantage

QC SUPERVISORPlus

Primary Function

Lead a team of Inspectors and plan the day to day quality control activities by ensuring proper work scheduling and manpower is in place. Manage any outsourcing services such as equipment calibration and specialist services, etc

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan and assign inspection work for the team ensuring the work is carried out to the highest standard and efficiently
  • Perform initial and in-process inspection according to procedures and customer's specifications.
  • Perform final inspection of items to ensure that all quality requirements or API specifications have been achieved
  • Report non-conformances and coordinate for corrective and preventive actions with process owners
  • Communicate and coordinate for third party inspection
  • Monitor and plan the submission of initial and final inspection reports
  • Manage and supervisor all quality records in the department
  • Supervise and guide team members on technical specifications & work procedures
  • Control and monitoring all the data’s related to internal and external audit.
  • Ensuring all the products meets the customer and legal requirements.
  • Providing adequate training for the QC personal on all the QC process.
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal departments for the effective planning of the work
  • Coordinating with document team for the submission of reports to customer.
  • Supervise equipment/tools maintenance in the workplace
  • Attend to customer’s representatives for work inspection.
  • Supervise & promote daily housekeeping and safe working practices in the workplace
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by immediate Supervisor

Minimum Requirements:

  • Technical Diploma or equivalent or as deemed sufficient by Management
  • Minimum 5 years similar experience in an engineering repair workshop in quality control with 2 years in supervisory capacity
  • Strong knowledge in threading inspection and dimensional control is essential.

WELDERPlus

Primary Function

Perform welding, gouging, and fabrication work in accordance to requirements specified in the manufacturing drawings

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive daily work instructions from immediate supervisor/Foreman/Assistant Foreman
  • Read blue prints
  • Draw materials from store
  • Transport and set up work piece using overhead cranes or other lifting tools
  • Choose the best welding method in accordance to the welding procedure and requirement specified in manufacturing drawings and process controller travellers
  • Ensure that welds comply with the non-destructive test requirements carried out by independent or in-house Quality Control requirements
  • Remove slag after welding
  • Control the usage of welding electrodes, wires, and flux, and avoid unnecessary wastage
  • Ensure that electrodes are preheated before they are used for welding
  • Ensure compliance with EHS issues, particularly PPE
  • Report to immediate supervisor when abnormalities occur during the welding process
  • Maintain all welding equipment in good working condition
  • Ensure that completion dates of products are met
  • Ensure that welding cables are not coiled and only required lengths are in use during welding
  • Ensure that extension cables that are not in use are properly coiled at assigned areas
  • Record welding area against drawing/sketch for submission to Quality Control (weld data record)
  • Maintain daily housekeeping at workplace
  • Ensure that tools and equipment are in good working condition
  • Follow safe work practices in all aspect of work
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by immediate Supervisor

Minimum Requirements:

Trade Certificate in General Welding or completed Primary Education with experience in Welding, or as deemed sufficient by Management

WELDING FOREMANPlus

Primary Function

Assist the Supervisor in daily welding operations as well as train new staff/existing staff

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Attend daily section meeting with Supervisor to discuss daily work schedule, work specifications and manpower scheduling
  • Check daily manpower status
  • Assign work to welders (and sub-contractors, if any) and brief them on the relevant Welding Procedure Specification
  • Approve withdrawal of materials from store
  • Check work progress of the day especially where pre & post heat treatment process required
  • Feedback to Supervisor on work progress of his welding team and clarification on technical issues, if any
  • Perform welding work according to procedures
  • Guide and train new/existing welders
  • Conduct employee counselling with his Supervisor, where necessary
  • Review work schedule with Supervisor before seek clearance from Manager for deployment of manpower for overtime work
  • Review before submission of weekly timesheet and process control travellers to immediate supervisor
  • Maintain good housekeeping at workplace
  • Ensure working tools and all related equipment in good working condition
  • Promote and ensure the practice of safe work procedures among his members
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by Immediate Supervisor

Minimum Requirements:

  • Diploma or Trade Certificate in General Welding or equivalent or as deemed sufficient by Management
  • Minimum 8 years experience in Welding or as deemed sufficient by Management
