Machine Supervisor
Responsible to lead, guide and supervise his team to produce parts in accordance with specifications and in line with given schedule.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and ensure that the Daily Planned Maintenance is completed by the Machinists
- Ensure tooling and inserts availability at all times by forward planning
- Plan machine loading and goal setting
- Report on machine loading to maximise utilisation of machines and manpower
- Plan training for new/existing machinists to be rotated on different machines periodically
- Conduct daily tool box meetings with team members to discuss daily work schedule, work specifications and manpower scheduling
- Promote and supervise safe work practices
- Communicate and coordinate with other departments/sections to ensure continuity of work process
Requirements:
- Technical diploma or degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Machine Shop including 2 years in supervisory role
- Proficient in English in reading, writing and spoken
- Computer Literate
